Every day we are in the homes of low-income elderly, disabled and veteran homeowners who have vital needs in order to restore safe and healthy conditions. These repairs and modifications allow the homeowners to continue to live in their home in comfort and independence. Your sponsorship makes a direct impact on their quality of life for many years to come.

Consider adopting one of our signature initiatives on an annual basis. Your impact to the community would be immediate and sustainable long into the future.

Together We Can Change a Life!

This month we are asking our community to commit to a recurring donation of $10 per month for 12 months to Rebuilding Together Broward County. Your commitment to a monthly donation can help make a homeowner safer in their home by providing a basic safety kit which includes a smoke detector, no slip bath mat, bath chair and a fire extinguisher. For $20 a month we can provide that same homeowner with a basic disaster kit that would include batteries, a flashlight, radio, water and canned foods. Help keep a homeowner safe in their home by becoming a Rebuilding Together Broward monthly donor.

A $50 donation provides a homeowner with a ceiling fan in a home without A/C, keeping an elderly homeowner cooler in the South Florida heat

A $100 donation replaces a broken toilet in a home

A $250 donation would pay for new window screens for a homeowner, keeping out unwanted pests and bugs

For $500 you can replace 27 year old carpet* (*average length of time an RTBC homeowner has lived in their home) in all of the bedrooms of a home

Donate $1,000 and help repair a leaky roof for a homeowner, giving them peace of mind this holiday season

Supporting our Veterans

Support Rebuilding Together Broward this Veteran’s Day

Did you know that almost half of all the homeowners we hope to serve this year will be veterans?

This year Rebuilding Together Broward has a goal of making 50 homes safer, allowing homeowners to once again have peace of mind.
This month alone we will work on 4 homes of veterans and military families.

Rebuilding Together Broward provides free home repair and safety upgrades to very low income elderly and disabled homeowners as well as veterans. In honor of all those who serve we are asking YOU to make a simple commitment. Let’s come together as a community and commemorate Veteran’s Day, 11-11-12 like never before.

This month, volunteers from Rebuilding Together are performing critical repairs on 3 homes in Broward County, with an overall goal of 40 homes by next summer. Can you imagine the peace of mind these homeowners will have this holiday season knowing that their home is once again a safe and healthy place to live?

There is no organization in Broward County that does what we do. Oftentimes we are a final hope to an elderly person in need of a new roof, a disabled person looking for assistance with their home or a veteran that has been unable to keep up with home repairs. Rebuilding Together Broward County fills a void and addresses a need in the community.

Even so, there are still dozens of families on our waiting list, elderly, disabled and veteran homeowners looking forward to the day that we can make their homes safe and healthy. Your donation can dramatically change someone's life!

A $25 monthly pledge will provide hot water for a family without any.

A $50 monthly pledge will insulate a home for a family struggling to heat and cool their home (and help reduce their enormous utility bill).

A $75 monthly pledge will make a bathroom safe and accessible for a disabled or senior homeowner.

A $100 monthly pledge will give a disabled homeowner a safe way to enter and exit their home.

A $200 monthly pledge will give a homeowner a new roof keeping them safe, warm and dry.
