National Rebuilding Day is the signature event of Rebuilding Together nationwide. Millions of dollars will be invested into low income communities through this major revitalization event. Proceeds are used to underwrite the costs of the event and fund our mission which supports our year round Safe and Healthy Homes program as well as our Safe at Home, Green Housing and Veteran Housing initiatives.
Your partnership expresses the key elements of this event: Reaching out to others with a helping hand, motivated with the desire to give of oneself in recognition that we all can make a difference. This is a unique event that allows us to make our community better. Individuals and organizations give of their time, talent, materials, services and financial contributions.

On Saturday, November 26, 2011, Miami Dolphins tight end Anthony Fasano is hosting a charity comedy event headlined by “30 Rock” actor Tracy Morgan. The event, which benefits nonprofit organization Rebuilding Together: Veterans Housing, takes place at The Fillmore Miami Beach. Doors open at 7:00pm, show starts at 8:00pm. Tickets for “The Anthony Fasano Foundation Presents Tracy Morgan Live” can be found through Live Nation & Ticketmaster.
Rebuilding Together is a nonprofit organization working to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize communities. The organization’s national initiative “Veterans Housing” was created to meet the growing needs of veterans from past and present wars. They provide home repair services for retired and active service members by increasing the home’s accessibility, enabling veterans to live independently and safely in their own homes.
Tracy Morgan, one of America’s most recognizable comedians, is currently starring on NBC’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning “30 Rock,” where Morgan appears opposite Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin. In
2009, Morgan received his first Emmy Nomination for this role, in the Supporting Actor category. As a stand-up comic who has headlined across the country, Morgan was first introduced to television audiences in his role as Hustleman on the hit comedy series “Martin.” He went on to join “Saturday Night Live” in 1996 where he appeared for seven seasons. Morgan rounded out his list of comedic achievements with his first HBO Special, “Tracy Morgan: Black and Blue,” which aired in November 2010.
Miami Dolphins tight end Anthony Fasano started his Foundation in an effort to support families in need in his home state of New Jersey and in Florida. For the last four years, Fasano has run an Annual Golf Classic in New Jersey benefitting the REED Academy, a school serving children with Autism, as well as a Bocce Tournament that provides families in New Jersey and Florida with food during Thanksgiving and gifts during the Holidays. “I have always wanted to do an event that benefits military families” says Fasano. “I am so happy that I can accomplish this goal with the first of my Foundations events being held in Miami, Florida.”
